DUAL CAPABILITIES

** POSITION A - standard high torque auger rig - 10,000 FT-#, 20,000 # pull - 175HP diesel engine which does auger drilling with wire -line system for:
  • Soil sampling - continuous or interval
  • Ground-water sampling
  • Monitor well installation
Drill is mounted on a compact Isuzu cab-over truck which has a footprint 2' longer than a big pickup with the same wheelbase. It is 21' long and 7.5' wide.

Exclusive Telescoping Mast that is adjustable from 12' to 27' for drilling or probing under power lines and inside buildings.

** POSITION B - in seconds side shift rotary head 14" to direct push mode, which moves one of the most powerful percussion hammer over the hole. Rig can now do the following:
  • Continuous or interval soil sampling with dual- or single-wall system
  • Ground-water sampling
  • 1" Mini monitor wells
THE FOLLOWING COMBINATION ALLOWS US TO:
  • Auger through concrete, asphalt, rubble, and difficult upper zones, then side shift and do direct push probing
    --OR
  • Direct push only
    --OR
  • Auger only
Probe first - encounter refusal - switch to auger.
This way the job can be completed with mobilizing only one rig
